♫ Dean’s Notes for May ♫

As we anticipate our Annual Meeting, with a look back, and looking forward to changes ahead, we have so much to be thankful for!

Our programs, lead by Nick Girgus, have been well attended and appreciated by all who attended.

From small, historic, Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque pipe organs, and the literature they illuminate, to large 19th and 20th century Romantic instruments and harmoniums, and their keyboard sisters, such as harpsichords, clavichords and now to the electronic advances that shed light on shiny new possibilities for what used to be called a “toaster,” it is an exciting time to love the music each of them allows us to play!

Needless to say, most of you are aware that our STEAM project, the Orgelkids Kit which we bought, is up and running around the state. If you want to catch it for your own community, just let Mary Ann Fleming know, at flemma1954@gmail.com or 603-562-6109, and she will schedule it.

Happy Eastertide!

It’s a pleasure sharing music with you!
