NH-AGO – EDUCATION AND SCHOLARSHIP RESOURCES

Listed below are some of the on-going NH-AGO supported education programs.  We encourage members to access the full resources of materials available at the National HQ website as means of life-long learning.   https://www.agohq.org/education/

Pipe Organ Encounters

This most successful of organ outreach projects by the AGO, allows students of all ages to learn about the history of the organ, how it works, and a chance to study in-depth with world renowned teachers from across the USA and the world.   Click on this link and follow to the national web-page for information on all the events this year.

Used Organ Music Library

The NH American Guild of Organists chapter has been given much used organ music over the years from estates, or retiring organists.  All funds from the sale of this used organ music are deposited into our Scholarship Fund.  We are able to offer grants to Pipe Organ Encounter (POE) attendee’s from this fund as well as support other educational initiatives as they come up.

The NH AGO, Used Organ Music Library, is now stored at St. Joseph’s Cathedral in Manchester NH.   Eric Bermani, the Director of Music at the Cathedral, can be contacted through the Cathedral office email  ebermani@stjosephcathedralnh.org  to arrange a visit during Cathedral office hours.

All titles are available for a suggested donation of $1.50 (or more….) and proceeds benefit the NH AGO – Scholarship Fund.  The Used Organ Music Library is available as a PDF Download (see below).
