NH-AGO – EDUCATION AND SCHOLARSHIP RESOURCES

Pipe Organ Encounters

Registrations for 2024 Pipe Organ Encounters are now being accepted and the details can be found by following the hyperlink to the AGO Website. Pipe Organ Encounters are the single most popular program AGO supports.  Our colleagues agree that this program is vital to the future of our profession.  The national website has details on the dates, applications, and other information you would need.

Used Organ Music Library

The NH American Guild of Organists chapter has been given much used organ music over the years from estates, or retiring organists.  All funds from the sale of this used organ music are deposited into our Scholarship Fund.  We are able to offer grants to Pipe Organ Encounter (POE) attendee’s from this fund as well as support other educational initiatives as they come up.

The NH AGO, Used Organ Music Library, is now stored at St. Joseph’s Cathedral in Manchester NH.   Eric Bermani, the Director of Music at the Cathedral, can be contacted through the Cathedral office email  ebermani@stjosephcathedralnh.org  to arrange a visit during Cathedral office hours.

All titles are available for a suggested donation of $1.50 (or more….) and proceeds benefit the NH AGO – Scholarship Fund.  The Used Organ Music Library is available as a PDF Download (see below).
